Book Groups

Morro Bay Book Discussion Group – free program at the Morro Bay Library, funded by the Morro Bay Friends of the Library

We are made up of a community of readers and students of life interested in learning and exploring different genres of books and literature. Come to any or all sessions!

Morro Bay Library Book Discussion Group

The Book Discussion group meets the first and third Wednesday of every month from 10AM until noon. If you like the idea of discussing books you have just read or just want to learn more about a book before you read it, this is the place to be! Participants will have a chance to read and discuss anything from the latest bestsellers, classics, traditional literature, historical fiction, mysteries or non-fiction books. Join us in animated and thoughtful discussion as we explore a variety of diverse and interesting books.

January 2: “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Bronte, discussion led by Helen Burton

January 16th: “Born a Crime:Stories from a South African Childhood” by Trevor Noah, discussion led by Helen Burton

All book discussion groups meet in the program room at Morro Bay Library.  For the comfort of all, please come fragrance free to these events.
